Your Web site is just one piece of the promotional puzzle. Van Ness Group builds entire marketing and PR campaigns to promote concerts, festivals, grand openings, etc.
Massachusetts State Senator Bruce Tarr
asked Van Ness Group to produce and promote the
Concert from the Heart benefit with major Boston area talent, including American Idol finalist
Ayla Brown,
national recording stars Fly Amero of
Orleans,
singer/songwriter Allen Estes
and multi-platinum guitarist
David Brown (see video Not With Ya Hands, below).
Not With Ya Hands - music by Allen Estes, words by Frank Tedesco
Allen Estes & Fly Amero - guitar and vocals | Dave Brown - guitar
Wolf Ginandes - bass | Seth Pappas - drums
Van Ness Group produced all music & entertainment, developed and executed a highly successful marketing and PR plan, designed the logo, built the Web site and provided Web-based ticketing services. Concert from the Heart raised over $30,000.00 for the fund.
Van Ness Group produced the highly acclaimed waterfront music and arts festival
Celebrate Gloucester, which raised money for
the Society for the Encouragement of the Arts and
Schooner Adventure - a national historic landmark.
The festival reunited the
Pousette-Dart Band and brought together dozens of musicians, artists, authors, historians, fishermen and maritime activities for a dockside festival celebrating Gloucester's arts and maritime culture and the grand opening of Gloucester’s first
cruise ship terminal on Memorial Day Weekend 2007.
Working with Motor Management, Van Ness Group promoted the world premiere of
The Souls of the Sea musical play by Frank Tedesco.
In addition to building the Web site, Van Ness Group provided Web-based
ticketing services (far better value than TicketMaster) along with sponsorship, PR and marketing.
The World Premiere in Gloucester, MA was extremely well received and attended. See Gloucester Daily Times Review. Future performances will be announced in the next few months.
Our high energy design, studio-quality music editing and comprehensive Web marketing campaign transformed Calypso Hurricane from an obscure calypso group into one of New England's most popular (and most expensive) wedding and party bands.

CapeAnnVacations.com
We completely overhauled the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce's tourism site, combining breathtaking visuals and powerful search, sort and select features with a highly intuitive design to produce one of the Web's premier travel sites.
Launched in June 2005, the new Web site and accompanying Web application replaced several legacy systems previously maintained on in-house servers. Today, using one intuitive Web-based interface, Chamber staff have total, instantaneous control over visuals, content and membership information, thereby dramatically reducing errors, overhead and technology costs.
For acclaimed photographer Tim Peters
we produced a unique interactive portfolio.
Because Tim is also an author and publisher, we integrated our One Touch Shopping™ eCommerce system so he can sell books, posters and prints directly from his Web site.
Our collaboration with Tim on a multimedia photo essay of Grand Manan Island, inspired us to produce a soundtrack for the project that we recorded and mixed in-house.
In order to coordinate this Web launch with a profile of DramaWorks on CBS affiliate, WBZ-TV4 in Boston, we had to build their highly interactive site in only 6 weeks.
Flash movies, video and database driven content create a visually striking site that features one of the first
Interactive Stories ever produced for the Web.
We created this high-impact promotion for a new music business venture during the last innocent days of Summer 2001.
Turn up your speakers (as Leslie West said on one of Mountain's early albums, "play it LOUD").
Click here to see the new media intro. Watch out! It takes over your screen. So turn up your speakers, sit back and relax.
Just click on Close when it's done.
The site was extremely well received by Yankee Fleet's customers and the community at large. So in preparation for the Summer season, we began a Web marketing campaign in March of 2002.
The results were spectacular! Yankee Fleet's Web site brought in over 20 times the revenue as compared with the year before -- and that was during the worst tourist season in a decade.
Unlike many other companies, Yankee Fleet's search engine rankings were not hurt by the major search engine shake up in November/December 2003.
Indeed, changes in the way search engines work presented us with an opportunity to re-design their site to improve their rankings even more. Now Yankee Fleet's Web site accounts for the majority of all their new business.
(see case study)
For the 2003 tourist season, we updated their image and paid homage to their history with just the right mix of hip and documentary style Flash movies.
